The Cons:No page-scrolling function available while in trackball mode. No middle button functionality as the center button just switches modes. Response can get erratic if there isn't a line of sight.

Kensington's SlimBlade Trackball Mouse is a portable, Bluetooth cordless mouse that uses a laser tracking system as well as a top-mounted trackball. The trackball is intended for use when there is inadequate space to move the mouse, or from a distance away from the computer (30 feet maximum transmission range).

The trackball can switch back to mouse mode with one button, and doing so converts the trackball to a 360-degree scrollwheel. The Bluetooth connectivity uses up batteries faster than Kensington's USB mice, but this means that it does not use a USB port.
