Logitech LX8 Cordless Laser Mouse
$35.00
Released January, 2008
The Pros:Movement tracking is nice and precise for a mouse this price. Excellent ergonomics--great size, buttons are easily reachable. Dark blue colour is a refreshing change from the standard silver and black.
The Cons:The side buttons are very easy to hit by mistake. The Setpoint software necessary to program the side buttons is so awful, it's been known to disable the mouse entirely.
The Logitech LX8 is a lower-end, cordless laser mouse. Rubber grips and a symmetrical, contoured design aim to provide a comfortable experience for both left- and right-handed users. Unlike newer cordless mice, the LX8 requires a USB receiver to be connected to the Mac or PC in use.
