Logitech M110
$15.00
Released February, 2010
The Pros:Additional control software enables quick customization of additional buttons - excellent feature for gamers or programmer who frequently trigger prompts beyond basic clicks. Tilt-wheel capabilities are ideal for extensive spreadsheet/slideshow users - enables full-page vertical scrolling for fast, accurate response. Larger design is surprisingly ergonomic - fits the hand comfortably without requiring excessive repositioning, without wobbling excessively like smaller models.
The Cons:Some users report scroll wheel after extensive use - component may cease to provide vertical scrolling and instead alter screen magnification, etc. May trigger allergic reactions amongst users with asthma or similar disorders - unit seems to be covered in a chemical coating.
The Logitech M110 is an entry-level, wired optical mouse designed to work with either a USB or PS/2 port. It hosts an ambidextrous design that’ll keep either hand comfortable and unstrained through multiple hours of use.

More importantly, it provides high-definition optical tracking (1000 dpi) for a responsive, smooth cursor control. Plus in addition to the up-and-down scrolling that can be found on any other mouse, the Logitech M110 also offers side-to-side scrolling, making it useful for moving across documents or spreadsheets. It’s a precursor to the M125 in that it doesn’t offer a retractable cord, though there’s much of a price difference.
