The mouse is specifically designed for web browsing. The scrolling is optimized for web browsers in that the wheel is designed to have precise micro-scrolling. Additionally, if the wheel is tilted forward or backward, the web page forward or backward command is called, in order navigate a web browser's history. The wheel tilting functionality is limited to Windows, although the mouse itself is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. The mouse is relatively small, so it was also designed to be ergonomic in order to prevent pain from gripping a small mouse for extended hours. The mouse uses regular batterie, which give it a usage span of 18 months. While rechargeable batteries may be used with the mouse, the mouse itself is not rechargeable like some other wireless mice. The receiver for the Logitech Wireless Mouse M325 is USB and can be used to connect other compatible Logitech devices such as keyboards and webcams, instead of having to use separate USB connections.
