The unit's micro-precise scroll wheel helps to provide users with full control of vertical page navigation, with laser-grade tracking offering smooth, consistent access on a variety of surfaces for versatility. Connecting to computer interfaces via the Logitech Unifying Receiver, the M525 offers 2.4GHz connectivity and uses an ultra-slim transceiver footprint for minimal risk of bumping of removing the unit by accident. Up to three years of functionality are available on a single set of AA batteries, helping to significantly reduce costs associated with less energy-conservative models. In addition, the M525 features dedicated pack back and page forward buttons for fast online browsing. A wireless trackpad application is available for iOS devices through the Apple iTunes store.
