The Microsoft Comfort Mouse 3000 is a basic low-cost mouse designed for office environments that need reliable and replaceable pointing devices. This is similar to the Microsoft Comfort Mouse 6000, but has a symmetrical design that can be used by either hand.
They are otherwise the same, with the cord coming straight out the top to avoid getting tangled with the keyboard or other items on the desk. BlueTrack technology is used which is able to pick up the details of a wide variety of surfaces, enabling the mouse to be used on almost anything other than clear glass or a mirror. The 3 mouse buttons can be configured to work in multiple ways through the Windows driver settings. This mouse is powered through the USB port connection, and doesn't need batteries.
