Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000

$50.00 Released September, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:It works on any surface. Movement is smooth. Tactile feedback is sharp enough, but not as good as your average non-compact logitech.

The Cons:Middle-button/wheel cannot be clicked without turning the wheel a little bit. If you make any use of the middle mouse button, do not buy this mouse! Can't be taken apart without the use of excessive force.

The Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 is a battery-operated BlueTrack Nano mouse that connects to Microsoft PCs via a snap-in Nano receiver. As an upgrade from the original Mobile Mouse 4000, the 6000 features 5 programmable buttons, rubber side grips, and blue lighting effects.

Where to Buy

At its core is BlueTrack technology, a proprietary Microsoft engineering feat that allows the mouse to work on virtually any surface. Included also is a Nano receiver that plugs into a computer and then transmits signals from the mouse (maximum distance: 30’). The Mouse 6000 is unfortunately battery-operated, but does at the very least offer a 10 month lifespan.
